He is the second oldest born May 26, 1946, along with his twin brother Rick, in Moose Jow, Saskatchewan. He grew up in a lorge family of 8 brothers and 9 sisters. In the eorly 1960's, he began his restaurant coreer at Kenlucky Fried Chicken, After spending his eatlier yeors in Moose Jaw, he wes transferred io Vancouver in 1970 where he continued his coreer menaging KFC and White Spot. In 1977, he wos again 2 transferred which brought him to Terrace. Three doys atter arriving in Terrace he atet his future wile Linds. Rob and Linda were morried in 1976 and shortly after he began working at Alcan Aluminium Lid. ond worked there his remaining years.
