Services Committee meeting March 14, 1991.

THAT Council confirm the present policy that, in the event of activation
of the Emergency Services Plan, homeowners and businesses will be kept
informed by way of our advice to radio and TV stations only.

AND THAT this policy be established as the only means of notification in
order to provide the best possible service to the public.

From the City Clerk, March 20, 1991 regarding 2670/64 Shaughnessy Street.

THAT staff be instructed to proceed with the demolition of buildings at
2664/70 Shaughnessy Street.

AND THAT the estimated cost of $5,800.00 be taken from the Parking Reserve
Fund.

WHEREAS the “Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 18, 1990, No.
2529" received first two readings on July 25th, 1990;

AND WHEREAS the Council has, since that date, considered the proposed
amendment to the Official Community Plan in conjunction with the City's most
recent Capital Expenditure Program;

AND WHEREAS the Council has, since that date, considered the proposed
amendment to the Official Community Plan in conjunction with the Economic
Strategy Plan entitled "Port Coquitlam Industrial Development Strategy";

AND WHEREAS no applicable Waste Management Plan exists for consideration;

AND WHEREAS the required statutory procedures, including the holding of a
Public Hearing, have been followed and the said Bylaw No. 2529 was read a
third time on September 10th, 1990;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:

THAT no inconsistency can be seen to exist between the amendment to
Official Community Plan proposed to be enacted by Bylaw No. 2529 and
most recent Capital Expenditure Program;
