THAT Lot 9, Block 17, District Lot 174, Group One, Plan 2080, New

Westminster District be purchased of and from the registered owner
thereof, Sidney E. Ransom, P.O. Box 606, Boissevain, Manitoba at or for
the price or sum of $8,500.00.

THAT the adjustment date be January ist, 1984 and the possession
date be May Ist, 1984.

THAT al! incidental legal! expense and Land Title Office Fees, etc,
be paid by the “ity.

THAT the City Treasurer be instructed to make the necessary

arrangements in order that the purchase price may be paid from the
City's Parkland Acquisition Fund;

AND_THAT His Worship the Mayor together with the City Clerk and/or
the City Treasurer be authorized to execute such Deeds, Documents,
Plans, Cheques, or other instruments as are necessary for the purpose
aforesaid and to affix the Corporate Seal of the City thereto.

WHEREAS by Bylaw No. 2026 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam

cited as the "Toronto/Ulster Lane Ciosure Bylaw, 1984, No. 2026" a certain
portion of Lane therein described located in the City of Port Coquitlam in the

Province of British Columbia was stopped up and closed to traffic;

NOW THEREFORE BE iT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam be authorized to petition the Minister
of Municipal! Affairs of the Province of British Columbia praying on behalf of
the City for abandonment of the said portion of Lane described in Bylaw No. 2026
and the vesting of the title of the land comprising the same in The Corporation.

District of Coquitlam's request to the Province that the Greater

Vancouver ALRT system be extended to the Lougheed Mall area and to the

Coquitlam Town Centre as soon as possibile,
