3. The indemnity provided for in Sections 1 and 2 hereof shall be

paid by the City Treasurer in twelve equal monthly instaliments during the

months of December, 1981 through Nevember 1982, inclusive, to the person or

persons entitled to receive same without further order or resolution of the

Council save and except as provided in Section 4 of this Bylaw.

4. In. the event any member of Council is absent for more than three
consecutive regular Council meetings the indemnity that would otherwise be
due that member shall not be paid to that member. . The provisions of this
Section may be waived by unanimous vote of the remaining members of Council.

5. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Council Indemnity

Bylaw, 1932, No. 1384!'.
