Mayor Laking introduced Mr. L. Schmidt, 3468 Lancaster Street, who

then made a presentation to Council expressing his concern regarding the Schmidt

Engineer advised he was on site and advised of his findings. Mr. Schmidt
suggested that the developer be responsible for replacing the cut trees
with fir trees and poplar trees to give immediate growth in the area.
Alderman Mabbett advised he had been on site with Mayor Laking. Alderman
Wright suggested the By-law Officer prepare a report for prosecution,
Alderman Keryluk stated prosecution would be carried out if the meeting
fails to produce satisfactory results.

That a meeting be scheduled between the Environmental Protection
Committee, Mr. Shewfelt of Techram Securities Ltd., and representatives

of the Lancaster Avenue residents.
