From the City Administrator, October 6th, 1980 recommending that
the bid of Metro Motors for a 1980 Fairmont 4—door sedan in the amount
of $6,989.17 plus 4% tax, be approved.

That as recommended by the City Administracor, October 6th, 1980
the bid of Metro Motors for a 1980 Fairmont 4-door sedan in the amount
of $6,989.17 plus 4% tax, be approved;

AND THAT this vehicle be provided for the use of the R.C.M.P.
Community Liaison Officer.

Alderman Wright advised that the Officlal Opening of the Winslow
Cumpus of Douglas Collepe will be held on Thursday, October l6th, 1980,
Mayor Laking asked Alderman Wright to atrend on behalf of the City.

Alderman Mabbett: expressed concern regarding the nolse made by
motoreycles.

Alderman Traboulay inquired whether the placement of the Justice

Building In Port Coquitlam has been approved in writing and Mayor Laking

advised he is actively pursuing thls matter,
