We would request permission to put up txo signs, (1) at the
corner of Shaughnessy Street and Hitt River Road (2) et the corner of
Shaughnessy Street and the Lougheed Highwey. Permission to use the
Read-O-Grash sign starting June 20th, 1976 and to hang a banner over the
underpass on Shaughnessy Street starting June 5th, 1976.

The Port Coquitlam & District Hunting & Fishing Club, in co-operation

with the b.d. Wildlife Federation, Lower Mainland Region, will hold ang celetrate
its anual SCHUETZENFEST on June 19th. 1976 at the club's Yanges and the new wing
of the PoCo Rec. Center,

As you know, previous SCHUETZENFESTS in our elty have been quite
successful; public partissipation has been great and our local merchants have
been most generous in their support,

Proceeds from the 'fest' have enabled our club to host outdoor
education programmes, instigate and support various wildlife Propagation and
hanagement projects, and last, but not least, enabled us to builé ani maintain
exellent recreation facilities for the public. Perhaps the @reatest benefit
to us and the community is the sportsmanship and good will generated by the "fest,

For these reasons, and to make the coming event even Greater and better,
We appeal to you that June 19th, 1976 be declared SCHUSTZENFEST DAY in the
City of Port Coquitlan.

If council wishes a delegation from both the above naned organisations
will be pleased to appear beforgcouncil to answer any questions you may have.
