together with a standard space between the dashes of 20-fect vould
assist motorists in judging stopping alatances;

AS) NHEREAS it is desired to bring this natter to the
attention of the Government and the Department of Highways!

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Province of British
Coluabia ba requested to establish a standard 20-foot leacth for the

sarking of broken lines and the ‘Spaces between on the centre-line of

Provineisl Wighvays and thee all aunicipslities be urged te follow

this standerd on highways, streets, and rosds under thetr control.
