Sirs: Re: Mosquito Control — Sewage Lagoons. We are experiencing some problems with the control of mosquitoes in the Port, Coquitlam Sewage Lagoons. The site has been ground treated four times this year to date. It will require furthes controls until the season is complata. As part of the experimental Operations this year, it would be most advantageous if the sewage lagoons could be used ao & test for a Spacifie aerial application with FLIT MLO (the light, biodegradable oil). Such a test would be a great asset in determining and planning future mosquito control prograns and coat, I would Like to request that Council entertain a request to allow this one test for experinental purposes. It is an ideal location and one which serves our purposes best, iP Vector Control Officer, Simon Fraser Health Unit. BUP/fr
