SKI TIPS from Shames Mountain Ski School

MASTERS RACES

Masters Races - what are they and who are they
for? Masters Series is an adult race program. It is
designed to add a new element of fun to the
recreational skier’s season. Skiers are divided into age
categories and compete at different ski areas in
Westem Canada. Some people train and restrict
themselves to local competitions. It’s just a matter of
personal preference. _

Adult racing is for intermediate to advanced skiers.
The Masters Program at Shames Mountain runs every
Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m. on the T-bar runs, The
format? Racing gates, general ski improvement and
finally, to prove to your friends that you’re faster than
they are.

Don’t forget! Sunday 1 - 3 p.m. at the T-bar. Come
and join in the fun!
