THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NO. 2571

A Bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan of
The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.

WHEREAS an Official Coumunity Plan was adopted by the "Official Community Pian
Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162"

AND WHEREAS an amendment to the Official Community Plan has been prepared and

after First Reading of this Bylaw the Council has:

(a) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the most
recent capital expenditure program under Section 266 of the
Municipal Act to ensure consistency between them;

(b) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the
Reonomic Strategy Plan entitled “Port Coquitlam Industrial
Development Strategy” to ensure consistency between them;

determined that no applicable waste management plan exista for
consideration;

determined that the amendment to the plan does not affect the
District of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt
Meadows, or the Greater Vancouver Regional District.

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1.

The Map of Development Permit Area No. 1 following Section 2.1(9) of
Chapter “V DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AREAS" of Schedule "A" of the “Official
Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" ig deleted and the Map of
Development Permit Area No. 1 attached to this Bylaw as Schedule 1 1s

inserted in its place. ;

The area extent of Development Permit Area No. 1 shown on Schedule “C" of
the “Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" is amended to conform
with the revised area extent of Development Permit Area No. 1 enacted by

Section l.

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Official Community Plan
Amendment Bylaw No. 23, 1991, No. 2571".
