SUBJECT: Public Information Meeting
South Pitt River Road
Planning Committee

RECOMMENDATION: That City Counci! authorise the Planning
Committee to hold a Public Information Meeting

about planning for the south Pitt River Road
vicinity. ~

COMMENTS:

1. Following approval in principle for the Genstar Subdivision
there has been an Increasing amount of Interest by real estate
companies in the south Pitt River Road vicinity.

The Pianning Departments !984 budget contains preparation of a
detail plan for the south Pitt River Road neighbourhood. A
general land use plan and road network plan have now been
prepared. Before proceecing with detail planning, the
Planning Committee wish to obtain input from area residents.

In conclusion, the Planning Department [Is requesting
authorisation to hold an information Meeting during thea month
of June for the south Pitt River Road nelghbourhood.
