A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Counci |! Chamber, Por+
Coquitiam City Hall on Monday, January 16th, 1984 at 7:30 pam. .

His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D.
Gates, J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance,

Also in attendance were City Engineer and Acting City
Administrator F.E. Peters, P, Eng., and Recording Secretary D, Vyse,.

That the minutes of the Regular Counci! Meeting held on January
9th, 1984 be taken as read and adopted, ;

Mrs. J. Warden, representatives of the Western Society for Senior

Citizens' Services who then made a Presentation to Council —
regarding a service grant. re a,

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That the Western Society for Senior Citizens! Services! request for.
a grant. in 1984 towards services to seniors through the Seniors! Bureau

be referred to the Finance Committee for consideration during Budget -

.discussions.

Regional Director, Lower Mainland Region, Ministry of Environment who

then made a presentation to Counci | regarding the Coquitlam River
Silting.s Mr. AvV. Andrews, Environment Consul tant working with Jack

Cewe Ltd. was Present. and was able to answer the Councilts inquiries.
