pared an estimate of cost in total amounting to $53,000, it
should be pointed out that this has been done without the
benefit of detailed drawings and that should eifficulties occur . eat ha

Council, of course, is aware that- the Justice Building
Was Constructed and is maintained with costs shared between the a
District and the City of Port Coquitlam on the basis set forth Mae RLA,
fn a joint sharing agreerant. Currently, the costs are borne
approximately 33% by the City ef Port Cocuitiam and the remaining
672 by the Sistrict, fersuant to the Joint agreement, cests of
this sort should be providec for in the ennuyalt budget. In this
instance, howaver, due to the shortage of natice and the
constraints by which building alterations are tu pe met, it is
imperative that an early start be made on the construction.
Sti], assuming that Council is Prepered to meet the expenditures
out of its current budeet, ft will nevertheless be necessary
to seek concurrence from the City of Port Coquitlam. A copy of
