h ; BY-LAW NO. 1705 O U A By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal Regulation SEP 24 By-law, 1970, No. 1020". 1979 OCT ยข 1879 . The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open mecting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. Section 10 of the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound and Animal Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 1020" is amended by adding the following thereto as Section (3): (3) (a) Every person applying for a licence for a neutered male dog or spayed female dog shall, in order to obtain the said licence, present a certificate in writing from a licenced and qualified veterinarian certifying that the said dog is neutered or spayed. Upon presenting a certificate in writing from a licenced and qualified veterinarian certifying that the dog is too old or physically unable to reproduce offspring or undergo the necessary surgery in order to neuter or spay the said dog, an applicant for a licence shall be entitled to obtain a licence for the said dog upon payment of the required fee for a spayed or neutered dog notwithstanding that the said deg is not spayed or neutered as the case may be.
