I heard a report on the TV News that the B.C. Telephone Company is
going into a Regional rate within a very few months. This was the idea put
forth by our Council and I hope that we may have in some way been involved in

this decision. {t claims that the Vancouver rate will increase a little and

the remaining part of the G.V.R.D. should be lower. I think this is a big

step towards thinking Regionally and I was most certainly pleased at its

‘inception.
