This machine blasts off the rough edges to castings and on the day of the fire a casting that was too hot was put in the mach~ ine igniting the rubber lining. $300.00 damage was done to a car when the wires shorted. No damage to a cafe when the stove and chimney became overheated, also a small fire in a garbage container. Motor in a clothes drver burnt out. Small fire in a home when material stored too cloge to a hot water heater ignited from the pilot light. We had a call to the C.P.R. to a derailed butane tank car. There were no leaks but the car was too badly damaged to be moved any distene«, The butane was transferred to another car, an operation that could have been quite dangerous had ic mot been done by the experts’ that were called in. . 2 motor vehicle accidents, Treated an elderly man that was found ering from exposure and a man with a badly cut car caused from a Bki-doo accident. 16 hone emergencies consisting of heart attacks, convulsions, falls causing injuries, diabetics and home accidents. Three people treated after béing in fights and 4 overdoses. Treated and transported a man who lost his arm in an indust~ vial accident.
