A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held
prior to the Council meeting of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam
held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlan City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy
Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November Sth, 1990 at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates,
J.J. Keryluk, M.R. Wright and W.W. Stewart in attendance,

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, Acting City Clerk

S. Rauh, City Engineer I, Zahynacz, Director of Community Planning C.R. Felip,
and Director Parks & Recreation K. J. Taylor.

ZONING PUBLIC HEARING:

His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay advised that the following proposed
Bylaw would now be considered:

Bylaw No. 2548

To establish the area extent and regulations for Development Permit
Areas "IX" and "X", see map attached to Council Agenda.

The following people spoke regarding the proposed amendment

Mr. J. Kern, 1620 Mary Hill Road would like to see Shaughnessy Street
intersect with the 1500 Block of Mary Hill Road

Mr. B. Bennett 3635 McRae Street would like a pedestrian access between
Woodland and the Highschool

Mr. S. Donen 1616 Mary Hill Road would like Shaughnessy Street to
intersect further along Mary Hill Road.

Mr. M. Woytas 1592 Mary Hill objects to Shaughnessy Street meeting with
Mary Hill he is concerned that the driveways on Mary Hill Road will be altered,

Mr T. McKenna 1732 Mary Hill Road is opposed to the grade of the road
and expressed concern for winter driving conditions.

Mr. J. Kern 1620 Mary Hill asked how the road will be paid for. The
City Engineer replied that the developers will pay full cost.
