She was born in Newton Le Willows, Lan- cashire, England, At the age of six she and her parents came {to Canada and resided in Ottawa, Ontario, until] the age of 15; then moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta, where she met and married Frank E. Hollands who was a member of the Royal Northwest Mounted Police. They then moved to Terrace in 1945, . She is survived by her husband, Frank and two sons, Cecil of Powell River, B.C.; and Lyle, of Terrace, B.C.: six grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
