for the family marine buginesses.
Waterfront lands should be reclaimed as public
lands. Commercial and residential uaes should be ~

leased to tenants as in False Creek.

Need more light industry to generate jobs for local
people.

Need more ‘heavy industry to provide skilled
tradegpeople.

Need more industry.

Do not discourage industrial uses with excessive
regulations or extra costs.

Any variances should be based on overall impact on
area and environment, not just on number of jobe.

Consider favouring variances by industrial users very
carefully. We could use the tax base that they bring.

Industrial development does not have to be toxic,
ugly ot dangerous to surroundings.

Get rid of truck yard on Mary Hill Bypass.

Conaider light industry between Dominion and Prairie
from Burns Road east to Pitt River.

Maintain sound buffers between residential and
industrial uses.

No toxic chemical wastes should be used or stored by
industries.

Need better access before more trucking and induatry.

Maintain good transportation network for the
