BYLAW NO. 2934 APR 36 1984

A Bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitiam Building
and Plumbing Code Administration Bylaw, 1974, No. 1298"

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as fol lows:

Section 5 of the "City of Port Coquitlam Building and Plumbing Code
Administration Bylaw, 1974, No. 1298" is amended by inserting, after subsection
(1), the following as subsection (1A):

"(1A) Notwithstanding subsection (1) of this Section where an owner of land has
tendered a plan of subdivision in the Land Title Office and been assigned a
pending registration number, a building permit may be issued as if the
proposed parcels to be created by the subdivision had already been created
provided the owner otherwise conforms with this Bylaw and all other
applicable bylaws and provided the owner has executed substantially as set
out in Schedule "D" attached to this bylaw a statement:

(a) releasing, indemnifying and saving the City harmless from any claims
arising out of such issuance; and

providing for cancellation of the permit and removal of all buildings
and structures by the owner at his expense should the plan of
subdivision either be rejected or for any reason not deposited in the
Land Title Office within six months of the date of the Issuance of the

permit.

The Bylaw is further amended by adding the Appendix "D" enacted by the Schedule
"I" annexed to this bylaw.

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Building and Plumbing Code
Administration Bylaw, 1974, No. 1298, Amendment Bylaw, 1984, No. 2034",
