Re: Governmental Refuse Collection and Disposal Seminar

The City Engineer has received information regarding a Seminar to be held
at Lake Tahoe, August 3lst to September 2nd, 1977, sponsored by the
Governmental Refuse Collection and Disposal Association. We have kept

in close touch with this Association in the last few years as it deals
with many of the current problems in garbage collection and solid waste
disposal as well as sewage treatment problems, The Works Superintendent
attended their Conference last year.

The City Engineer has asked for approval to send George Ulmer, the Works
and Utilities Superintendent, to this year's Conference. The Registration
Fee is $75.00 plus the regular per diem expenses and travelling allowance.

I would recommend that Mr. Ulmer be authorized to attend.
