Alderman Traboulay referred to a memorandum from the City Engineer, March 3rd, 1975, being a summary of meetings held when certain members of Council and Senior Staff were in Victoria, and stated he felt that the report on the discussion held with Mr. C. Woodward, Assistant Deputy Minister of Municipal Affairs regarding the Amalgamation Study was not to convey an impression against boundary re-alignment, but rather that the Department felt the first look had to be on the basis of total amalgamation.
