Clive Tucker has been fixing kilns at the
Port Moody Art Centre for the last seven
years and boy is he good at it. So at last
he’s decided to share his knowledge and
experience by offering this fabulous service
to you. He will come and fix your kiln. He has
experience in soft brick and kiln lid repair,
installing new switches, new elements, kiln
sitters, new relays and computer control.

$45 /hour plus parts (Minimum 2 hours)
Serving the Lower Mainland: UBC to Maple

Techno Tip: Website Galleries

Here is some info about an easy gallery format for
websites! I don’t do my own website stuff, as I have
no time and no tech skills. Instead, I have a great guy
who takes care of that; however, I have always found it
annoying that every time I want to add new images to my
site I have to pay himto do it for me. My website often
got neglected for this reason, and updates to my gallery
were not timely. This seems to be a common problem
among those of us who are not web-design savvy.

The solution to this problem? My web guy found
this great software package which he integrated into my
site that I can update myself—VERY EASILY—and it
works like a charm! It’s user friendly and looks pretty
good on the site.

The best part for me as a potter is that I now simply
open the kiln, take a few digital photos of the pieces I
like best, then go over to the computer, upload them,
