The Inaugural Ceremonies and Statutory Meeting of the Municipal Council of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam were held in the Council Chamber Port Coquitlam
City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on December 6th, 1993 at 7:30 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Councillors M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk,
W.W. Stewart, R.H. Talbot, M.A. Thompson were in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, City
Treasurer/Deputy Administrator J GS. Maitland, City Engineer I R. Zahynacz, Deputy
Engineer J.E. Yip, Director of Community Planning C.R. Felip, Parks & Recreation Director
K.J. Taylor, Fire Chief J.L. Baillie, Deputy Chief G. Routley, Director of Building Permits and
Inspections J.D. Shardlow, Personnel Director V.J. van Meel.

CALL TO ORDER:
His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay called the meeting to order.
STATUTORY DECLARATIONS:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Judge A.J. Scow and then called upon

Judge Scow to receive the required Statutory Declarations and administer the Oath of Allegiance
to:

M. A. Thompson Councillor

The newly-elected Councillors now officially take their places as Councillors of the
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam.
