BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

1. Proposal Call

Earlier this year, Council directed the Parks and Recreation Department to
issue a proposal, call to develop an active area of Reeve Streec.

The Parks and Recreation Committee, in conjunction with the City
Administrator, interviewed various consultants on Friday, November 2, 1990.

and INTERCAD Services Led., wha supplied a joint proprosal, were chosen
unanimously by the {interviewing team.

Parks and Recreation Master Plan

The Mascer Plan clearly identifies that Phase I af Reeve Streec Park
should be developed within the next year.

a) Site analysis, programming and preliminary design $28,500.00
