Mr. Pollock advised receipt of a letter from the adjuster estimating the damage. Mr. Pollock advised the estimate of the damage plus the fee for the adjuster amounts to $854.00. Discussion then ensued on the claim and Mr. Pollock advised the City is not legally responsible for the sewer back-up and this payment would be an ex gratia payment for the incunvenience he was caused. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That an ex gratia payment in the amount of $854.00 be. made to Mr. C.
