GENERAL REMARKS:

During the month a very steady effort was put in by the Shelter and this is indicated
by the maintenance of the revenue for the operation of the Shelter. A meeting was held
with Alderman Traboulay to discuss the effect of having a special Inspector assigned for
off duty hours operation. The result of this exercise has not only proved very fruitful
but has had a very good effect upon animal control during the summer months. It is
refreshing to note that other municipalities are now considering very similar exercises
for 1975, based on the experience of the City of Port Coquitlam.
