Re: U ~ Turns.

Recommendation: The traffic Committee recommends to the Munietpal Council
that "No U-Turns" be permitted along Shaughnessy Street
from the Lougheed Highway through to Pitt River Road. .

Re: Angle Parking on Elgin Avenue. . 7

Recommendation: The Traffie Committee recommends to the Municipal Council

that there be rvarallel park ing along the south stde of :
Elgin Avenue from Shaughnessy Street to Mary Hill Read and that there be
angle parking on the north side of Elgin Avenue from Shaughnessy Street
to Donald Street. .

Re: Kingsway, Mclean aid Pitt River Roads being used as an artertal highway.

Recommendation: The Traffie Committee reconmends to the Municipal Coumett

that a dalegation led by the Mayor meet with the Minister
of Highsays and his officials to diseuss the ure by commuters of Kingsvay,
MeLean and Pitt River Roads as an artertal highway. It is further suggested

7 that there are a number of items of commen concern that could be discussed
with the Minister.
