I I I I II III I I I f, 1 Feasibilitv Studv Ken Weber presented a draft report on Hyde Creek Centre. Three options were presented to Committee on possible layout for the centre. A considerable amount of discussion took place on the pros and cons of each site. Ken identified that initially costs of installing the elevator, replacing the roof, putting in sprinklers, relocating and Hvde Creek upgrading of services would cost $ 350,000. The various sites, as presented, would cost the following: Site A 1 +8350,000 2.5 million Site A-2 +8350,000 2.8 million Site B +8350,000 2.5 million Ken Weber will be fine tuning the various options, as discussed by the Committee. A phasing proposal will also be brought forth to the next Committee meeting. The next meeting with the consultants will be Nay 28th at 3: 45 p.m. in Council Chambers. — Recommendation: That the verbal report by Ken Weber be received. CARRIED /2. Ilsi si i I! The parks by-law states that Council approval is required to hold this kind of event in a park. Recommendation: Item No. 3 That approval be given to the Lions Club for the holding of a flea market in a park. Roval Canadian Leaion The attached letter was received from the Legion; the Committee saw no problem in naming the park. Recommendation: That the strip of landscaped area along Shaughnessy Street in front of the Legion be named Legion Jubilee Walk. CARRI ED ADJOURNMENT The meeting 81& adjourned at 5:15 p.m. G. R.
