SAA [i eeitiem Er 7. sare ately URS BYLAW NO. 2665 A Bylaw to Regulate the Deposit of Seil on Land in the City. The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: DEFINITIONS In this bylaw: “City Emgimeer” means the City Engineer and the Deputy City Engineer appointed by Council. “Deposit” includes the placement of soil from one parcel on another parcel and the relocation of soil from one part of a parcel onto another part of the same parcel. “Soil” includes earth, sand, gravel, rock, and other substances of which land ia composed. APPLICATION This bylaw applies to all land within the City of Port Coquitlam except land designated as agricultural land reserve pursuant to the Agricultural Land Commission Act. PROHIBITIONS No person shall cause or permit the deposit of soil or other materials on any land except in accordance with this bylaw and except in strict compliance with the terms and conditions of any permit issued pursuant to this bylaw. No person shail deposit fi11 material other than soil on any land except: (a) manure, composts, mulches or soil conditioners for agricultural, farming, horticulture, nursery or domestic gardening and landscaping purposes; (b) wood chips, hog fuel, bark chips, shavings, trimmings, sawdust and other processed wood waste, to a maximum depth of 10 cm above grade, for agricultural, horticultural, farming, nursery or domestic landscaping purposes; wood waste produced by a processing or manufacturing activity situated on the same parcel or an adjoining parcel. « FIRST THREE READINGS
