City Engineer SUBJECT: 1992 Giri Guides/Boy Scouts Torchlight Parade (Public Works/Traffic Committee Meeting of January 21, 1992). That the City of Port Coquitlam grant permission to the Port Coquitlam Girl Guides/Boy Scouts to hold a Torchlight Parade on the evening of February 20, 1992 trom Viscount Alexander School, Northside Mall, James Park School, and Aggie Park to McLean Park, subject to the following: 1. That the parents assume responsibility for traffic control. — That the parade use sidewalks where possible. The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the City Engineer dated January 8, 1992 regarding a letter dated December 29, 199i from the Girl Guides of Canada requesting approval from the City of Port Coquitlam for holding 1992 Girl] Guides/Boy Scouts Torchlight Parade. The Committee noted that approval was given last year for a similar parade on the conditions that the parents assume responsibility for traffic control, and that the parade use sidewalks where possible.
