The Dominion Triangle is located south of Dominion Avenue, north of the
Lougheed Highway, and borders on the Pitt River to the east (Figure 1). It is

comprised of 270 acres of privately-owned land.

Bordering the Deminion Triangle to the south are the C.P. Rail Yards and
the Mary Hill Industrial Estate. To the north of Dominion Avenue are vacant
lands and rural residences; this is the site of the newly developing Riverwood

gubdivision which, when completed, will accommodate over 2,000 residences.

Most of the lands are presently vacant or rural residences. Commercial

activities within the Dominion Triangle include a nursery greenhouse
operation, a turf farm, and a retail commercial garden center as well as

several home-based businesses.

Due to its proximity to the Mary Hill Industrial Estate, Lougheed |
Highway, C.P. Rail Yards and Pitt River, the Dominion Triangle provides an
opportunity for mixed development comprising not only general industrial USERS ,
but also highway. commercial, warehouse retail and distribution, Light

manufacturing and related office uses.
