The Petition of the City of Port Coquittam

HUMBLY SHOWETH:

That the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has
by Bylaw No. 2018 cited as the "Rae Street Lane (Plan 2102) Road Closure Bylaw,
1984, No. 2018" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of Lane
therein described;

That the said Bylaw No. 2018 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam was
reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Counci! of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam on the 12th day of March, 1984 and a
duly certified copy is attached hereto; a ;

That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous lands have
consented to the closure of the said portion of Lane described in the said Bylaw
No. 2018 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam has agreed to accept
title to the land comprising the same; ;

That the said portions of Lane have never been opened to public traffic nor have
public monies been expended thereon and it is the desire of the Council of the
said City to transfer title to the ltand comprising the same to the owners of
property adjacent thereto and the same wil! be offered for: sale at an upset price
of $3.15 per square foot. ’

That by resolution dated the 12th day of March, 1984 the Municipal Council of The
Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a
Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the
portion of Lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2018 so stopped up and closed to
tratfic; ,

THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly prays for the abandonment of the said portion of
Road described in Bylaw No. 2018 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam
and the vesting of title to the tand comprising same in The Corporation of ‘the
City of Port Coquitlam.

AND your Petitioner as in duty bound wil! ever pray, etc.

AND dated at Port Coquitiam, British Columbia, this 13th day of March, 1984.
