Seconded by Alderman Mabbett:

That Alderman P.F, Ranger's October lith, 1979 report on the Special
meeting of Councils with the Greater Vancouver Regional District Sub-
Committee on transit negotiations, be received.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
discussion ensued. _ Council generally expressed Concern regarding the
Transit system proposal ‘and asked that a report be received from the
Greater Vancouver Regional District on possible alternatives to the

Proposed transit system.

Seconded by Alderman Mabbett:

That the Greater Vancouver Regional District Board of Directors be
advised of the support. of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam in regard to the present transit negotiations; but
that the opposition of the Council to the presently existing proposed

terms and conditions of the transfer of responsibility be expressed.

From the Flanning and Zoning Committee, October 10th, 1979 recommending
that duplex lots have a minimum width of front building line of not less

than 50 feet.

That. as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, October
10th, the 1979 minimum width of front building line of a duplex lot be

not less than 50 feet.

From the Planning and Zoning Committee, October 10th, 1979 recommending
that rezoning application, R#18-79, to rezone 2311 Shaughnessy Street
‘from RS-1 to RM=4 for the development of a 21l-unit apartment project be
advanced to a Public Information Meeting.

10th, 1979 rezoning application, R#18-79, to rezone 2311 Shaughnessy
