Alderman Traboulay stated his understanding that in the Public Disclosures Act there is a section whereby Council may name certain officials of Council who have to submit disclosures, but not to the public, and the City Clerk advised that the Council has such authority; however, Acting-Mayor Alderman Laking stated he would prefer to consider this matter when a full Council is present: Alderman Traboulay referred to vandalism caused by the 1974 graduating students in the painting of pornographic signs in some areas of the City, and Suggested that a campaign be started in the Fall at the Port Coquitlam Secon- dary School to work with the students in an effort to deter such activities by the 1975 graduating class. Alderman Traboulay referred to the sum of $10,000.00 allocated in the budget for crcsswalk lights, and inquired whether the design and locations have been established therefor. Alderman Keryluk advised that crosswalk lights have been looked at and areas have been designated but that to the best of his knowledge the type of light that would be satisfactory has not yet been worked out. Alderman Traboulay suggested that the City of New Westminster be contacted to find out where to order the lights, and order three. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Txboulay: That the number of crosswalk signs that can be purchased from monies allocated therefor in the budget, of the same type as that used in the City of New Westminster, be ordered.
