WHEREAS an Official Community Plan was adopted by the "Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162” AND WHEREAS an amendment to the Official Community Plan has been prepared and after First Reading of thia Bylaw the Council hae: (a) examined the amendment to the. plan in coajunetion with the moat recent capital expenditure program under Section 266 of the Municipal Act to ensure conalstency between them; examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the Economic Strategy Plan entitled “Port Coquitlam Iuduatrial Development Strategy” to engure conaistency between thenmy determined that no applicable waste management plan exista for consideration; determined that the amendment to the plan does not affect the District of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or the Greater Vancouver Regional District. NOW THEREFORE the Muntelpal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting agsembled, enacts aa follawa: ‘ 1. Chapter "V DEVELOPMENT PERMIT ARRAS" of Schedule "A" of the “Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" ia amended by adding the following, after Section 2.11, as Seetilon 2.12: “2012 Dowlnjon Triangle ~ Davelopaumt Permit Area XIX This area is designated ag a Davelopmant Permit Area for the establishment of objectives and the provision of guidelinea for the form and character of Commercial and Induetrial development.
