A regular meeting of the Municipal Counct! of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held In the Counct|! Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, January 7th, 1985 at 7:30 DoMe

His Worshtp Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C, Farnworth, M.D.

Gates, J.J. Keryluk, GR. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in
attendance.

Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R, Kirk, Clty Clerk
ReA. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, 'P. Eng.e, Assistant City

Engineer T. Chong, P. Eng., City Treasurer J. Maitland, and Parks &
Recreation Director KeJ. Taytor.

That the minutes of the Regular Counci | Meeting held on December

Superinrendent, C.P, Ratl, who then made a presentation to Counci|

regarding the End-of-Train Unit.

Seconded by Alderman Gates:

That the Municipal Council! of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam oppose the Railway's application to the Canadian Transport
Commission to test the End-of—Train Unit. .

During the ensulng discussion with Mr. H, MacAulay, Superintendent,
C.P. Rall, the Counct! were assured that the problem created was wel! In
hand and adequate contro| measures were being taken.
