Res Selection of Consultant for
Design and Construction of
Pumping Stations

Requosts for proposals werd Beol Bay to thyrec
consultants and two Proposals were received, Both proposals
are based on payment of aetual. cost of the time spent by the
consultant according to a pravestablished fee schadule, The
proposals give both the fee schedule and the estimated maximum
cost. as follows:

1. Crippen Engineering - Fee Schedule - Office Engineering
Salary x 2.5

~ Field Engineering
Salary x 2.3

Total Uatimated Cost ~ $50,000

2. Associated Engineering - Fee Schedule - Rates vary from
$57 per hour for Prineipal Engineer
to §16 pax hour for support staff,

Estimated Cost - $39,400

Both of those consultants have the qualifications to
do the work. Crippen were rosponsible for the construction of
tha Cedar Gurive PumMphouse ag well as the foundation structures
for the pronasad pumping stations, Rowever, sone of thea key
engineering ataff who were raspongible for thase pravious projects
ava no longer with Crippen. Associated Engineering were responbi=
ble for peveral] dyking programs ineluding the Mayfair Industrial
Bark storm pumping station and Punping stations in Mataqui-palta
and New Woutmingter,
