Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Ranger referred to the

question of adequate fire protection for the proposed development, as was discus-

sed at the previous Council meeting, pointing out that the property is already
appropriately zoned for the use intended, but that the applicants agreed to enter

into a Land Use Contract at the City's request, and advising that if the applica-

tion is turned down they can take out a permit and construct an apartment exactly

From the City Clerk, November 23rd, 1973, stating that at a recent Committee

meeting dealing with personnel matters, the position of Parks Superintendent was
established and the City Engineer was authorized to appoint Mr. Won Kim thereto
under the terms and conditions set out in the City Administrator's recent memoran-

dum, and accordingly, the position should now be included in the City's “Assignment

of Duties By-law, 1972, No. 1184"

The City Clerk, in his report,
pointed out that By-law No. 1291 replaces the current sections 7 and § and adyi-
sed that as these sections presently refer te the position of Chief Building Ins~

pector, which has recently been determined by the Labour Relations Board as not

presently being a management position, it is therefore appropriate to delete them
from the By-law.
