That Council approve the placement of signs stating "No Parking 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to
Saturday” on the west side of the 3200 block of Toronto Street.

The Public Works/Traffic Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project
Engineer regarding a request from Mrs. Boileau for traffic restrictions on Toronto Street, north
of Prairie Avenue.

As this portion of Toronto Street is only 8.5 metres wide, parking on both sides restricts the
travelled portion to a narrow single lane, the Committee recommends that parking restrictions be
placed on the west side of Toronto Street in order to allow two way traffic.

The standard day-time parking restriction in the Traffic Bylaw No. 1117 is 8:00 am and 5:00 pm
Monday to Saturday. , oo
