The recommendation is to erect netting over the backstop area just short of covering the home plate, which will catch the foul balls. Both Minor Baseball and PoCo Men's Fastball (these groups are the main users of the diamonds) have been contacted about the problem and how it will be solved. The Parks & Recreation Committee have reviewed the situation and agree that the netting appears to be the best solution. The cost to do beth diamonds has been estimated at $10,200.
