SUBJECT: Sale of City Property - 2200 Block Stafford Avenue

DRAFT RESOLUTIONS:

i. “That the resolution passed on April 18th, 1988 wherein the sale of Lot 5,
Block 8, District lot 290, group one, Plan 1957, New Westminster District is
sold to W.E. Industries Ltd. be and the same is hereby rescinded."

2. “WHEREAS the lands hereinafter described are not required for municipal
purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated;

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved thats

1. Lot 6, Block 8, District Lot 290, Group One, Plan 1957, New
Westminster, (located on the Southside of the 2200 Block Staf ford
Avenue) be sold to W.E. Industries Ltd. 24160 125th Avenve, Maple
Ridge, B.C. V2X 7Y7 at or for the price or sum of $42,500.00.
The adjustment date be June 8th, 1988 or earlier.
The possession date be June 8th, 1988 or earlier,
The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the documents necessary

for the purpose aforesaid and to affix the Corporate Seal of the City

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

These draft resolutions are presented as a result of. instructions issued. by
Council at its. meeting of May 2nd, 1988. A notice advising that Lot 6 was

being offered for sale was posted as required by the Municipal Act. No
