THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NO. 2226

A Bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam
Commercial Vehicle Licensing Bylaw, 1962".

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembied, enacts as follows: ,

The definition of "Act" in Section 1 of Bylaw No. 770 cited as the "City of Port
Coquitiam Commercial Vehicle Licensing Bylaw, 1962" is repealed and the fol lowing
substituted therefor;

"tact' means the Municipal Act, being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of
British Columbia, !979, as amended;". :

Section {A of the Bylaw is repealed.
The phrase "Division (2) of Part X of the Act" where the same appears in Section
2, Section 3, and Section 8, is struck out and the phrase "Division (2) of Part
1] of the Act" is substituted. ° :

Section 7(1) of the Bylaw is amended by inserting, after the word "vehicle" the
phrase "(or photo copy thereof)". ~

The first paragraph ot Section 9 of the Bylaw is amended by adding after the word
tcard" the phrase "or photocopy thereof". .

Section 10 of the Bylaw is repeated and the foliowing substituted;

"The ticense plate shall at all times be affixed in an upright position on the
inside of the windshield in the upper centre and shall be kept entirely
unobstructed and in a legible condition."

This Bylaw may be cited for all” purposes as the "City of Port Coquitlam
Commercial Vehicle Licensing Bylaw, 1964, Amendment Bylaw, 1986, No. 2226".
