ANIMAL CONTROL FACILITY
MONTHLY SERVICE REPORT
CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM
AUGUST 1980

During the month of August, the Animal Control Facility functioned extremely
well. Only 22 complaints were received, which is extremely low for the month
of August, however, 36 animais were impounded and of these 15 were claimed.

For the year to date, only 25 dead animals have been picked up off the streets,
as opposed to 65 In 1979. This dramatic decrease Is a good weather vane on

the number of animals which are running at jarge, and in addition, will fndicate
& reduction in the driving hazard.

There were no outstanding problems during the month of August.
