Mabbett, April 9th, 1979 advising of an onsite inspection carried out with the Parks Superintendent on Friday, April 6th, 1979 regarding the request from residents on the north side of Oriole Place for a solution to the problem of having people walking over private property to have a shorter route to the Hyde Creek Centre and George Pearkes School through the Nature Area and recommending that the City of Port Coquitlam straighten out and generally clean up the existing rough path along the property line, going around trees, stumps, etc. on the park side. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the City of Port Coquitlam straighten out and generally clean up the existing rough path along the property line behind the private property on the north side of Oriole Place, going around trees, stumps, etc. on the park side to alleviate the problem residents are having with people crossing private property when going through the Nature Area to Hyde Creek and George Pearkes School. From the City Administrator, April 9th, 1979 advising of the request on behalf of the Provincial Returning Officer for permission to use the Old Library, and that parking spaces he reserved. | Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That permission be granted for use of the Old Library for the local Provincial Returning Officer at a rental rate of approximately $1,000.00; SUBJECT to further negotiation by the City Administrator; AND THAT four parking spaces be reserved.
