Here is the cast line-up for Norman Conquests -- Living Together. - ‘Alan Weston: . | Alan: has always been an actor, living in a “musical, theatre-loving family. He took his training at Ryerson in Toronto in theatre arts, ad- ministration and radio/T'V pro- duction. Before moving to Ter- : race, he worked for Huron Country Playhouse in Grand Bend and at the Backdoor The- Special prop needed The Terrace Little Theatre is sending out a plea for help with their upcoming produc- tion Living Together. Their props department is in desper- ate need of a hearth rug under which two of the main charac- ters, Norman and his wife, Ruth, "interact". In Living Together, Alan plays the lead role a as conqueror’. | John McGowan - John was born in San Diego and has travelled extensively Scotia, London, Ont. and Montreal. John’s acting experi- | ence has largely been in the field of musicals. He performed in Anne of Green Gables and A Children’s Opera. John is 25 years old and a physical educa- tion instructor at Veritas School. This is his third role during his ' year-long association with the Terrace Little Theatre. John performed in both Brighton Beach Memoirs and Hooters. In Living Together, John plays Tom, Annie’s boyfriend, uncomprehending of the tension emanating from the other players. Marianne Brorup Weston - Marianne first came to TLT as an assistant costumer for The Wiz. Her roles show a great ‘yange and diversity and have included a 14-year-old boy in Curse of the Starving Class, Heather in Art of War, Bella, the alter ego of a schizophrenic in Room 44, Diane in Sinners, and Marks and Scraps in Talking With, In Livitg Together, she plays wife Ruth to real-life husband Alan Weston’s charac- ter Norman. In Liv- ing Together, she plays Annie, Norman’s sister-in-law and one of his conquests. | ‘ Karla Hennig - Karla has had extensive directing experience and done quite a bit of acting. ‘Her favourite’ roles were in Canterbury Tales, and as Allison and Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Her first role with Terrace Little Theatre was aS Paula in No Problem. Paula was neurotic, whiny and a victim. She describes Sarah, Reg’s wife in Living Together, as “a very uptight, proper wom- an. She’s quite hysterical just under the surface. She’s bossy and tries to arrange things and people her way, with little suc- cess." Ray Mordan - Ray is a rela- tive newcomer to the Terrace Little Theatre. His introduction to the group, was as producer for their recent production of Hooters. Before his move to Terrace, Ray was involved in Theatre Calgary through corpor- ate sponsors Bank of Méntréal’ and Shell. He also served on the, ‘board of One Yellow Rabbit, a Fringe theatre company. His acting debut will happen on February 6, opening night for Living Together. Ray describes his character Reg, Annie’s and Ruth’s: brother, as “a carefree, happy-go-lucky kind 0” guy, interested in playing games.
