and on the court conducting
thé case. But without fore-
stalling the. course events may
take once the trial starts, and
going by present experience
only, the tendency by decisive
political circles in Israel is to
keep present-day militarists
and .anti-Semites not only un-
touched by the Eichmann case,
but to draw a clear line be-
tween the Germany of Hitler
and -that of Adenauer, so as to
whitewash the: neo-Nazi re-
vaachists in Bonn and at the
same time justify close co-
operation between the present
leaders of Israel with those of
West Germany.
