A special meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on January 3rd, 1978, at 4:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Engineer V.G. Borch, P. Eng., City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Planner Lanson Lee, Assistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P. Prior to passage of the three resolutions noted above the City Engineer gave a brief explanation with respect to the Tender Prices received for the Coquitlam Project of the Fraser River Flood Control Program and advised that further details would be forthcoming from the Provincial Water Resources Service in due course. REPORTS: From the Planning and Zoning Committee, December 28th, 1977 commenting P & 2 Com. on a letter dated December 22nd, 1977 received from PoCo Valley Golf and Dec. 28/77 re Country Enterprises Ltd. and entitled "PoCo Valley Golf Course Status nee wane” Report". The Committee's report referred to the four options set forth on page 3 of the letter and recommended that none of these options be accepted. At the invitation of Mayor Campbell Mr. Robert C. Groulx, Manager, PoCo Valley Golf and Country Enterprises Ltd., addressed the Council and offered further information respecting the content of his letver.
