SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR STREETLIGHT ON LAURIER EAST OF WELLINGTON

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

Attached is a letter from a resident of Port Moody who is attending evening classes at Terry Fox
Higl: School requesting that the Engineering Dept. install a streetlight in the area of the
southwest comer of the school.

The complainant is also sending this letter to the principal of Terry Fox to request that the school
install lights as well:

Existing Conditions
-there is one light on the corner of Wellington and Laurier over the crosswalk at

Wellington and, ,
-there is one light on the corner of Laurier and Liverpool (on Liverpool)

SOLUTIONS:

1) Install one mastarm light on the existing pole located on Laurier across from 1676 _
Laurier Ave. as a safety measure for day students engaged in extra curricular
activities that are held after dusk hours. -
